KBW's Comments
Violette Perfumee takes the bloom colour from his father Stephens' Big Purple and bloom shape from the mother, Dioressence. This is one of the most strongly fragrant roses I have ever come across. Only some of the old english roses will do better in terms of intensity of scent. The damask old rose scent with surely stay with you for a while. Large size deep purplish bloom (not really violet) with a nice shape. If one is looking for a very strong scent and beauty both in one rose, this could be one good choice.
