Re: Lilies
Yes iam growing them in Jubail (KSA) for last 2 years, they bloomed in April and then produce little ones for next year , 1 plant can generate 6 to 7 bulblets , in hot summer they sleep in soil, either i keep in pots or naturlize them, they hate dry soil and never survives if dug out and stored. Next year all the bulblets are ready to blossom again, easy plant to keep and grow.

Re: Lilies
Dear Hammad,
the pot you ca see above in my post has eight babies of previously one plant, i keep them in the same , they survived throughout summer with little watering just to keep the soild avoid dry out. These babies bloomed and produce babies like them but became very conjusted so i move them this year to a bed and bburried them there, i ralrely water that area and will dig them out near October. I keep one bulb out of soild which became dried and dead in few days. so keeping them in the soil shall help.

Re: Lilies
Hamad your lilies are great.these are the true lilies.but what i m thinking are you growing then Wah cantt.they are just like we grow in Hilly areas like Murree,Swat or Abbottabad.lilies do not flower like this in hot areas.in first year its ok but in second year the quality reduces.same case is with the daffodils like Dutch master or golden harvest.they flower in first year but in second year only foliage in hot regions.

Re: Lilies
My Lilies started to bloom for me in London, one is on full bloom the rest are on buds and soon will follow the course, I will keep you guys updated with the blooms as this year I have planted some more verities, but the corms that I ordered from Dutch bulbs were rotted and I didn't manage to get replacement I m quite unhappy
, because this year my plan was to plant some new verities.
but I m also happy for what I m getting this year
next year may Allah bless me with the opportunity then inshAllah I will plant all the verity that I fancy.
