Got it identified from a university's botanical garden websit (UBC Botanical Gardens): It is an Indian Paintbrush plant. Castilleja sp (semi-parasitic plant).

No, it is apparently a wild plant. I picked the flowers from a mountainous area in Canada. Turns out that (red) Indians natives used Castilleja flowers in food.Muhammad Arif Khan wrote:Farooq, do you have this plant?
