some lotus and lilly seeds i had got from thailand , they just had pictures and the names were in thai so cant say exactly .

:) thank you !! i feel happy ..after spending hours in the hot sun the garden looks good to someone other than myself !! i do what i can . i think the pergola will hopefully get covered .. the inital plan was planting different coloured flower vines to climb and have them in straight lines so you could see different types of flowers when u sit under it ! but the raat ke rani seems to have made plans to take over !!the alamanda is lost under it and the other vines are really slow at climbing !! maybe in another year it might start looking the way i would like it to .
i really have given up on the grass, every now and then someone says to try american grass and im like hmmm i could but i really dont want to ! i think differnet ground covers will be more fun .

not sure where it will be available in karachi....but was a common site in Islamabad this season with the same name.....so must be there in karachi.......good thing its perennial,fast growing like grass and flower almost year round

its not my yard :P.....just posted for reference :-)....i have a one here and there .....Fatehpur nursury is the best in H-9........there are exotic bulb plants available in Faisal nursury like bromeliads....but price range is from 2000-4000

not going to be spending money on plants till i fix the ground situation.. get some green on the floor first ! ive realized there is no ends to the wants in gardening !
