Generally speaking he is right.. manures which are not aged enough have high level ammonia and salts which damage seedlings.. you can keep a bori of manure and keep it moist for all season so when the season ends and you plan to sow some seeds, you will be having your own seed sowing compost.. use it and buy a bori again to repeat the process...

The compost available in market (2in1 compost, Multipurpose compost, Khaaksehat) all are very expensive but are safe for seed sowing..

Another thing which you can do is to put the ojhri ki khaad in a bucket and fill it with water... rinse it after a day or two and repeat the process one time.. you can use it after this for seed sowing...

Saram the seed sowing season was in October... however, if your khaad still stinks then it should not be used to sow seeds...

"Winter sowing" term is coined for only those areas where snow falls...

go ahead with basil and fenugreek... for broccoli, you will get plants but there will be reduced blooming..
