Farhan Cineraria grows better in sun than shade.Petunias are sun loving annuals.if you want some thing for sun, pansies tolerate partial shade.thats another thing they will flower late as comp to the ones planted in full sun.if you want some thing for shade then try Mimulus.mimulus do not like full sun & prefer moist soil.

I just love mesembryanthemum... too bad it was not available in Karachi this season in all the nurseries I bought the seedlings from... I am growing Cinerarias in shade ... with less then 30 mins direct sun.. they are growing very fine and are on buds now...

Cineraria, grows better in sun and tolerates shade. One grown in shade becomes lanky, so I grow it in sun and when in bloom shift it to shade where required.
Musembry was from my own seed.

GRreat Flowers,

For peTUNIA i have tried 10-15-10 fertilizer grains mixed in soil , they are doing great and been blooming here in SAudi for last four months, Pansies are early bloomers the more cold it is the more bloom they produced, Cenenaria do like the sun of winter, in full sun of marc-Aprilh they will wilt and have to be shifted, The last one is Rudbeckia right.?
