No problem at all.. just keep them well waters and a chhatta of DAP... thats it!

Nowadays, weekly mowing is best as the grass tend to grow quickly in summers...

Izhar you are sold to DAP It is your remedy for every thing. Sorry I don't agree.

DAP has 18% Nitrogen and and 46 % Phosphorus only.
To the best of my knowledge the best NPK ratio for the lawn is 4-1-2 (Clemson University South Carolina)
Feed your lawn one Kg of Nitrogen / 1000 sq.ft. per year in divided doses. Addition of Iron Sulphate will do lots of good.

IMHO, it appears to me that this is neither due to not mowing nor due to lack of nutrition. The grass on the sides seems to be ok. I hope some harmful chemical was not spilled over this area?
I agree with part of Izhar sb's suggestion. ie, watering only. I would suggest that you mow the lawn and water it liberally and frequently so that if there is some harmful chemical, it gets diluted. See it for a few days..... hopefully things will get better.

KBW, I agree with you It could even be a spill of high concentration fertiliser, any way the remedy is frequent drenching with water (you can not over water these days).

Your lawn looks great. If simple watering did the things than probably the barren patch was due to spilling over of some chemical in that area which has now been drenched due to watering.

Good luck
