I may head to Akbari Mandi tomorrow. I am a beginner gardener having a small home-front lawn and around 40 pots which are definitely going to increase given my interest and knowledge I'm gaining from this forum. What other chemicals/salts etc to amend the soil's Ph would you suggest to grab from Akbari Mandi along with Ferrous Sulfate and in what quantity approx.?

Want to pay mucn,much more buy it from any garden store if you want it very, very cheep Akbari store, Akbari Mandi Tele 37639511-15.

I went to Akbari mandi for Ferrous Sulfate. The 4-5 dealers I visited inculding AKbari Store, got Ferrous Sulfate Monohydrate. I don't know if Ferrous Sulfate and Ferrous Sulfate Monohydrate serve the same purpose and both have same method of application, nonetheless I purchased the product. Kindly shed some light.

No, I purchased only 3 Kg @ Rs. 40 per Kg, from Humayon Chemicals, as Akbari Store were not willing to sell any quantity less than a bag full.
