How I do protect from birds?

Assalam Alaikum, how I do protect my home plants (in pots at balcony) from birds (chirya)? They comes daily and strikes on leaves, in the result plant's growth stops and the infected leaves gone yellow and becomes dead. In this way I put some seeds in the pots and when tiny blossoms comes over soil, birds ruined them all

Use some kind of netting to cover small seedlings and plants .

Make a scare crow, use CDs, reflecting ribbons etc
