I have Erythrina crista galli but its blooms are not that showy.... will buy this Erythrina x bidwillii

I had cristagali in ground and pot and it dies back too much in winter and doesn't bloom this well.

Here's cristagali. Two year old plant in pot and this is the only bloom...

I think this is quite common. Anyone care to ID. Just full of blooms....
