I believe around 6 buds on a single scape. I am very pleased with the blooms of 'Red Lion' which resembles a flower tower.

Its fantastic that you managed to get 6 buds on a single scape of Naranja.

They tend to give the impression that the Amaryllis bulbs imported are based on preferences of customers but in reality the bulbs imported are basically the leftover bulbs available in Holland.

This is a very old bulb and i can't recall the name of this red amaryllis. Kaleem Sahib is sure that it's 'Red Lion' but the true identity of this bulb is still debatable. I don't remember buying 'H. Red Lion' in the past. But whether the name is, it proved be a star performer.

H. Jewel.

The images shown below are of my favourite Amaryllis which incidentally is the oldest Amaryllis in my collection. It was bought in the late 80's and size of the flower is huge as big as the flower of H. Mont Blanc.
