Naranja, What is the size in inches, Does the picture present true colour of the flower, how many flowers on the scape?
Brig Sahib the image accurately depicts the actual colour of Naranja. There are 5 flowers in one scape and 4 in the other scape. The reason why i termed Naranja as a disappointment was the flower size didn't turn out as per my expectation. I was hoping that the flower size would be comparable to Mont Blanc Amaryllis. Even the cross orange cultivar shown below looks better in my opinion than Naranja? The flower size of this cross cultivar is as big or slightly bigger than Montc Blanc variety.

regards,

I seem to have forgotten the name of this red amaryllis It's definitely not "Benfica" or 'Red Lion' as flower of 'Benfica" is larger & more darkish red. It might be 'Royal Velvet' or 'Hercules".

Around 4 buds per scape but not as vigorous as i had hoped considering it's from Hadeco.

'Ice Queen' and the unknown red which might be 'Red Lion' as pointed out by Kaleem Sahib.

Blossom Peacock unfurling. I am sure it will turn out to be a beauty.

Benito unfurling. Strange name for an Amaryllis and i hope it's not inspired from Mussolini's first name.
