thanks farhan bhai for valuable advises.this season was a experiment for future setting.now i am aware with drawbacks of all beds and plants.so will take care next time INSHAHALLAH. another point is this that i was in shortage of time this year due to a lot of seedlings and my front garden was unable to consume all these seedlings so i prepared this garden in hurry. will prepare next fall with planing.

Hamad though these Sparaxis are not as good as the first white that bloomed for you, but they are having their own look and beauty and therefor I would also like to buy some of these, they will look really good in mass plantation.

Farhan Ahmed wrote:When one starts anew, it means tremendous opportunities, ideas and what not. Take your time, take every thing into consideration such as exposures, bed design and borders, water drainage and passages in case of excess rain, water mechanism in which you would be comfortable to water your plants without least effort and disturbing your plants. You can look into raised beds, permanent trellises for vines and creepers, most importantly every nook and corner of a bed should be accessible, like your mesmbry bed, some part of it would not be assessable to you, in case it was some other plant which require tending, you would not have access, Plan a sitting area, make a nursery portion with some shade where sick plants, new borns etc can go. Re-locaiton of shrubs, pruning of bushes all factors should be looked into, addition of better draining media(i think your soily is clayee), tree litter, look into ways in which you can reduce in much, or else you would require frequent cleaning of beds. In between beds, what do you plan, ideas like bricks, marble blocks or chips.....its so exciting when you start from scratch. :-)

Decisions you make now will have long time repercussions.
very well advised. The problem I can fore see is that his garden is on an adjacent plot, if it is his own and he has no plans for selling it or construction on it then he can go for permanent plants otherwise he has to restrict to what he can afford to loose.
