AoA Maqsood ul Mulk, welcome,
Your little heaven on earth (well said)
Ayun Fort, is it an old fortification or just a name to a modern house
This paradise of yours is worth a visit, what is the best time to do so? May must be the best time for flowers.
Sequoias in Chatral is really some thing to boast about, How fast the tree grows?

The tree we are talking about

Its encouraging to see members of the forum appreciating and enjoying my efforts, Thank you one and all. Muhammed Arif khan sahib my family had a mud structured Fort built here in 1920 thus the name Ayun Fort. Over the years the wide walls fell apart and were an effort to rebuild . We also thought the walls were hiding a wonderful view. I rebuild a house at the site in 2004 however in the process lost all the plants we had collected over the years gifted away. The present garden you see was started from a scratch in 2006 baring two conifers which are about 60 years old. The dawn red wood I replanted from another garden we have on an adjacent cliff top promoting Autumn colours that I will post sometimes later.
Best times to see the roses is 27 april to 10 May, Autumn colours are gorgeous too.
