Beautiful Pics.Add more from your library.
I have this 'Rangoon creeper' and its in bloom these days.I am amazed at its growth. It reaches new heights overnight.I want to ask a question.I have planted 2 plants at two different places. Both are of same age.One is blooming continuously the other dont have a single flower. Is there something with the variety?

ka_khan it could be that the one not blooming is in shade! has poor soil! poor drainage! some disease or anything else which might be causing it to not bloom. It could just be a smaller plant or even different. There could be so many reasons.

Munir Saheb I believe half of these I might be posting for the first time.

Mustansir Saheb plumeria have dozens of different colors and then variations and combinations in them. What is unique in plumeria that different cultivars also will have different fragrances ranging from the common plumeria fragrance to lemon, grape, gardenia, rose etc etc.

Picked up the crossandra by chance last year. the plant is a real pleasure. Almost no care. Happy in sun. Abundant flowering and a yellow color that does not fade with the age of the flower. Very nice. Should be used as a front of the border plant or hedging.

Rainliles are wonderful too. They just bloom and bloom when it rains. I think mine have bloomed maybe 4-6 times if I'm not wrong since Spring. Low or zero maintenance other than the somewhat difficult weeding. Rapidly divide also.

Artabotrys hexapetalis vine is beautiful with deep clean green foliage, no disease and intense fragrance when in bloom but ONLY in the evening and when humid. It takes some time to air layer so I suggest waitng atleast 6-8 weeks for it to air-layer or use clear plastic and cut the layered stem only when you see good roots.

I've tried some Gloriosa varieties including Gloriosa Rothschildiana, Greenii, Lutea and Carsonii. The flower is exotic. The vine for me sprouts then flowers and then dies only to sprout again next season. This is probably a good vine to plant among other plants or vines like clematis. Both these disappear off season (gloriosa) or can be hard pruned and cleared (clematis).

Tall Bearded Iris are a pleasure but I lost some last year and some more this year in the monsoons. Now I've made a 6 inch raised bed surrounded by tall tiles and put in a mixture of bhal and sand 50/50. Hopefully the remaining few will survive next year.
