Same case here bro, i think you should probably plant them...they are not dead just shrivled..I'll plant all the imported items except seeds this weekend.Hamad Ahmed Kisana wrote:today i checked bulbs purchased from UK in June and found that bulbs of babiana are dead....their color is brown and they are very hard like brown wood.so i think they are dead.it was a shock for me..now what to do with others sow them now or wait...others are also loosing their weight and shriveled. so give me immediate advise...

Just for info i planted Coral drop bulbs few days back, after chilling them for a week. They have not sprouted yet but when i dug up one bulb it was rooting which is good enough sign that it would be coming up real soon.

My freesia starting to sprout in fridge. Rather they had almost 3 inches growth (whitish), i planted them couple of days back and now the whitish growth is turning green and small bulbs which did not have any growth are also sprouting.

Freesias don't need chilling in the fridge, no South African bulbs like sparaxis, babiana and ixias need chilling.Farhan Ahmed wrote:My freesia starting to sprout in fridge. I did not specifically place them for chilling. I had to go away for a week and room was ought to get hot so I placed all seeds and stuff in fridge
