Plant all the bulbs except calla in october. Some of these should be perennial. Some lilies, dahlia, anemone and Crocosmia(montbretia) naturalize if protected in winter. Not sure if liatris will flower in karachi, it did not in lahore.

Re: When to grow and what to grow!
You can plant:
oriental lillies in mid November under full sun
calla black eyed beauty now under full sun
gladioli in end October under full sun
lillium in mid November semi shade
dahlia in end October under full sun
arabian night (I guess it is a dahlia type)
anemone (I guess it is a dahlia type)
liatris now under semi shade
montbrettia in end October under full sun
You can naturalize Callas. While Gladioli & Dahlia corms & tubers respectively must be lifted in March end and stored in a cool and dry place.
Keep the football lily growing until October then stop the water or lift its bulb, re-water or replant in February. You can also continue watering but the bloom quality will suffer, in its natural cycle it goes dormant during a dry winter & sprouts with first rain of spring.
You can sow peppers now, while the corn, watermelon and cantaloupe in March end next year for better yield and overall plant.
buy healthy roses when they are freshly arrived from Punjab during November.

Does it realy matter? A rose by any name is a rose. Same rose with tag is twice as expensive. If I like the flower I buy it.
