The overseas members are probably used to adding their avatars to the forums. I belong to a number of forums and they all have a space for an avatar to the left of all your posts with the details. I agree with what was said here that it is nice to know the person you are sharing the forum with even though it is just a photo. It is nice to see some of the faces.

Forum Management; Heinie has a point there, which needs consideration.I think it should be viable to keep the photo, as part of the Members Name Plate or whatever you call it,displayed with every post, as mentioned by him. Alternate options could be: include it in the member's personal profile already being maintained or a collective photo album could be prepared/maintained as a separate chapter.The main problem to stay would be to motivate the members to provide their pictures as already dicussed & desired,but with weak response.Hopefully,the situation should improve with time.

@Munir Sb. Talked with Mir Sb Regarding Avatars. Its a no go for now
