You are cacti & succulent's expert. I have very little knowledge about them especially their names. Everyone will learn from each other from this exercise.

Everyone, please remember it will be a collective effort. So contribute as much as you can without compulsion (though). Even a total of 10 entries per week by 5 members will be more than enough. So each member would be contributing 2 plants per week. I don't that is a burden on anyone.

WSA, Dear Sufi, I am slightly confused. Have you already published a book on Ornamental Plants of Pakistan? If this has been already been done, please let us know, or if an excellent modern reference specifically for Pakistani garden already exists with PICTURES, please share the details. There are lots of specific and scientific books on Flora of Pakistan without a single picture. Those books are useless for ordinary gardeners because the terminology is very very specific for botanists only. Also, if you have published a book on medicinal plants, then it is a different story. We are currently interested in compiling ornamental trees and plants.

Regards.

@Tahir i will give you requisite permissions today.

@jdashraf......previous/ feeded entries are displayed in Sub-Forum....You have to wait for a little time to see them.

Regarding the entries..You people decide the final fields and then let me know and i will make the changes. These changes are from control panel and can not be done through normal forum means.

Let me clear it once for all :-)

Make the entry by inserting data....when through with all fields and description press submit.

A new thread(or you can say entry) will be made in flora Pakistan sub-forum with the name of the plant(example is there in sub-forum)
Then on the post in the thread you can click edit and insert images as we do through [img] codes.

Entry can be edited afterwards also in the same way. if you fee you have entered something wrong or you want to add something in description etc etc you can go to thread and click edit...and make changes as you like it.

As you wish or decide upon. However that would be double effort. You can always edit the entry....this is my opinion.
