Sir, these are two things... I myself am the caretaker of the seed bank. I may get 100 seed requests from members, which means i have to send 100 people the seeds of their choice from the seed bank. the seeds with packing, tagging will be free of cost i.e. the recipient would only pay for the postage charges and not for the seeds.munir wrote:Farhan, do you mean: only get seeds from Seed Bank by VPL & not use this mean for sending seed contributions to Seed bank .?
If i personally had to finance the postage that would be a huge burden on my pocket as i am only a student right now and just working a part time job.
VPL facility will allow me to send the seeds to the requester and the post man will just collect postage from them... on the other hand if a contributor wants to contribute seeds/bulbs etc they will have to send to one person that is me and not 100 other addresses, so they can manage 1 postal charge... if not i can always pay the postage
