Tahir Red Skin & Diablo are the compact bronzed leafed annual dahlia varieties.Agust is the real time for the Decoratives,Cactus & Pompon Dahlias which are raised from cuttings. The Annual type is sowed at the same time when we sow other spring flowering annuals.the Dahlia in picture posted by Farhan is Red Skin. You can find Red skin or Diablo seeds from Ibraheem gee & sons arms dealers, chota bazar.Biablo is better choice.
If really want whealth of colors then Figaro & Cindrella are best but the foliage is bright green.

Guys this is my would be garden layout. I intend to keep the same beds layout. Rough area is around 60 Square Feet. Any suggestions are welcome. Only addition i am making right now is bordering right half beds with nanthra. I would be requiring input for planting scheme and companion planting suggestion keeping in mind the color/foliage mix & match in times to come. All beds are either empty or some leftovers which will be discarded for spring except Canna and few Herbs.

Two thing i have finalized by now are Hollyhock which will be planted on the top most long border and Sweet peas on the bottom most horizontal borders.

Aoa Tahir sb i don,t remember their telephone number.Actually their owner Late Asghar was my friend & also my teacher in gardening.he used to import F-1 Hybrids from Nickerson Zwan in 1998.i used to go to their Abbotabad branch. He taught me so much about Tuberous Begonias,Cyclamen & Azeleas.their Rawalpindi branch is in Chota bazar Rawalpindi.they are actually Arms dealers & manufacturers but they have great taste of gardening.you can get so many unique varieties from them.First time Asghar introduced me the Snap dragon Madame Butter fly in 1998 when it was very un common in our local market.
