Hahahaha ... you'd not want it man, trust me.Ah it's gonna rain five more days says forecast.What'd I do with this much of water.

Update for sara and izhar

The flowering scape I put in vase bore 1 flower and 3 buds yesterday.Today nothing bloomed but the buds have opened up and look very healthy.I am hopefull it'll bloom tomorrow.Will post pix in case of positive.

I wish my daylilies could bloom like this one day.What a sight.I'll have to keep them with myself for another year or two to be able to see such flowering.

thanks tweedle , your explanation really helped me understand the daylilly better .
another thing ... after it has flowered do you cut off the stem at the bottom ? or just leave it be and wait till the new spike appears?

cut the scape at the bottom and then pray its a rebloomer.
