Re: Lemon Tree
They can be grown from seeds or cuttings. Take a fully ripe lemon, take out it's seeds and air dry for few days; sow it like an ordinary seed. The only draw back it is that it will take a long time to see its fruits.Mustansir Billah wrote:Could lemon tree can be grown from from seeds? If yes! then what is the proper method. "how much long time?
More than 5-6 years at least. Some people say more than ten years. I grew few lemons, they easily grew from seeds but we had to shift the house...perhaps they died during shifting.

Re: Lemon Tree
Sorry to hear that that but it seems it died due to over-care. Lemon is a pretty robust tree. If your plant were in a pot then, it is even more susceptible to overdose of fertilizers or pesticides. Next time, buy a more mature tree from the nursery.Mustansir Billah wrote:My lemon tree is finally dying and I coudn't do any thing other than just to watch it. :( . I know how it feels...most of my favourite trees and plants have died not due to over-care but negligence :-(

Re: Lemon Tree
Very well said M.Farooq and lemon plant doesn't like too much water, only watered when the above one inch surface is dry, my lemon tree was doing well after i sprayed pesticide one time and reduce watering and its started producing leaves until its bent at 45 degree angle from wind so i straigthen up the tree again but its stop producing leaves again but stem looks green so i m still hopefullM Farooq wrote:Sorry to hear that that but it seems it died due to over-care.
