This year I have been more vigilant regarding fertilizing my roses. I gave them DAP in winter, then some Epsom and NPK foliar and I'm thinking this week ill give them a dose of Potash. Eager I see if this effort gives results.

It's potassium sulphate. Will help boost flowering so give now to established plants. Do godi leave for a day then mix one chawal wala chamcha :D in some water and sprinkle around base of rosé. Then flood the area. It is not a foliar.

I think this term is relative. For any rose to be fully established it'll be two years and probably an extra year for own root roses. My reference to a rose looking established is one which might be vigorously putting out thick diameter stems just a few months in the ground. I had one grafted rose which was looking like A mature shrub just 5-6 months in the ground. It seems it was grafted on excellent rootstock which is not always the case.

Khan sb NPK is enough as it already has Potash.too much fertilizers will harm your roses.if you desire some more fertilizer let them bloom.when the first flash is over then apply more fertilizer.

Thank you Dr.sb. i agree with you. After plantation when the rose start spruting out then it may be considered as established.

Sir dont know much about rose fertilization the person from where i got my roses adviced me to give potash.........
i have seen light green texture of soil where they planted the fresh grafted roses(about three months old). when i asked , he replied that is fertilizer.......
in general roses are heavy feeders.........................
i am a bit confuse..................for the safe end i use to give low frequent doses of fertilizers..(result less no of flowers)..?

Rafique sb the green you saw is actually NPK.Feed well your bushes with old cow manure & NPK.but do not over dose.if you are using DAP then Potash is right.if you have less than 50 bushes its good to feed with Rose balanced fertilizer(NPK specially formulated for roses). Also apply micro nutrients liquid fertilizers.

If these are less blooms per bush then let me know how can i increase them.
