Amaryllis naturalize easily here. Almost no issues for me since I started planting them more than a year ago. I haven't even lost one.

So here's the Pink Surprise again. Unfurling fast in the full sun.... Sorry for the not so sharp pictures since though I am taking HDR pics with my cell phone but I'm shrinking them to take advantage of posting directly from my phone which the new iOS allows me to for this website.

Good idea. I planned the same but the past year I developed an interest in daylilies too. Now I have a bed with amaryllis at the back in a line and then infront a line a of daylilies. I have put some bulbs in pots too so they can divide since not all are dividing in the ground.

I think I missed the link; are these current photos? Beautiful anyway! What is the planting time & when do they bloom?

The link has been updated many times of the year. The dates show up on every post :)

Plant probably anytime in Lahore but for me I planted them in fall/winter which I think is best practice for dormant amaryllis bulbs. The bulbs are usually shipped from abroad and are primed to bloom for Christmas ie December. My ones from last year have not bloomed again yet and will likely resume their natural cycle by blooming in the summer.

Aoa, The imported bulbs planted right away will bloom in about four weeks, you can keep the bulbs in fridge and delay the blooming time, however these bulbs if left to nature after blooming will bloom in March/April next.
