Re: Garden Update 2013
Oh! what a pity - your nice and so proper garden, you have my compassion! Will this rain weather last for long months now? How could you protect your garden from strong rain? Perhaps with mulching ? But you thought already about it, I am sure.
I wish you much luck with the new upcome of your garden and again with much beautiful flowers !

I hate this place and its extremities....
For once i am thinking of running a tractor over my garden..........But maybe i have seen worse, and will have to go over again and again.

Today,I have stopped being the prisoner of fear of "Nature"......Yes they will have to.....or else i will make them, but My poor back will have to pay.
“The green thumb is equable in the face of nature's uncertainties; he moves among her mysteries without feeling the need for control or explanations or once-and-for-all solutions. To garden well is to be happy amid the babble of the objective world, untroubled by its refusal to be reduced by our ideas of it, its indomitable rankness.”

Sorry to learn this. I agree with Izhar & pray ur garden recovers well & fast & so does your spirit.Recall & find solice in the famous couplet of Mian M.Bux-the sufi poet , "Mali da kum parrein larran, bhar bhar mushqan paway; Maalik da kum phal-phul larran, laway ya nah laway" (somebody can translate it for Morina, if she so desires). Re: Garden Update 2013
High wind and rain of last night has torn away the branches of my three years old 14 feet high Tabubia and Cassia plants. One of them Pink Tabubia has been totally uprooted Three years effort gone in a jiffy.

Oh! yes, she wants very much!(somebody can translate it for Morina, if she so desires).

I am sorry for your disasters caused by this rain and the wind. In the net I found a yellow Tabubia, what a nice flowering tree!
Is he fragrant? What a painful experience for you, I hope you can save your tree in a way.
