Reduce the water for Nasturtiums and no fertilizer at all, it will cause more foliage than flowers.. i have been growing them every season from last five years, they are so dependable and carefree annuals, my father saves its seeds which weigh more than a kg..

I find removing the leaves quite helpful.

The forecasted Rain has arrived, slow yet persistent. This time I am prepared, but still the damage depends on the amount of rainfall. I have used this rain to fertilize (little urea) and weed a little. Moist soil (not wet) is best for weeding. Ensure that you remove weeds from the beds or they might again root due favorable conditions. Rain is expected to last till Tuesday…..

Destroyed........Complete havoc by 120 mm of rain and continuing...All plants lying flat, over feet high water. Broken seedlings & broken heart.
I hate this place and its extremities....
For once i am thinking of running a tractor over my garden..........But maybe i have seen worse, and will have to go over again and again.
