Re: Need tips for using rooting powder
Just after one month when i tried to shift the above plumeria cuttings i saw no roots. The cutting edge was little bit black n rotten but top portion was still sprouting n fresh.
What is d reason that after 30 days still no roots formed? This also happened wd ixora cuttings.
Anyway i just shifted the plumeria cuttings into a seperate pot.
Now a days my plumeria cuttings r in full sun since 15 days.

Re: Need tips for using rooting powder
Today i took out one plumeria n crotton cutting from a pot in which i used only cocopeat n didn't use rooting powder.
I saw small roots from crotton n white colour look like root from plumeria. Plumeria starting roots r different from other plants roots.
Despite cocopeat n absence of rooting powder d roots r formed. This cutting is healthy n sprouting.
See top 2nd pic. M talking about this pot.

For cuttings use only plain baalu mitti... it is best rooting medium...

Re: Need tips for using rooting powder
Ans a) Yes
Ans b) Rose cuttings should be about 4-6 inches, take out all the leaves, insert in pure fresh baalu mitti, it should be buried more than half of its length, water the soil thoroughly, cover with plastic bag, keep in shade for 10 days, bring in light after ten days, remove plastic sheet after 15 days, take cuttings in November only... use any easily available brand... all have similar result..
