No more....some destroyed by rain, and other i lost the patience. Most are in bin and others will follow. If its not perfect its no more.

Wow, beautiful..
a little train on flowers adds to its beauty..it appears you have got some new camera too...good photography though..
Yes I am also worried about current and coming rains in our region .. not good for me too... My Petunia has not yet bloomed even by 20%.. so is the case with some of the other flowers...I hope it ends on this Sun.

Very similar to the life's garden story. :(

It was a strange feeling that i was introduced with yesterday. Seeking the final outcome and trying hard for it. I destroyed with my own hands many beloved plants that were damaged as well as those not damaged. (couldn't destroy all because sun went down) hahaha I couldn't stand seeing them in bad shape. I tried to rectify initially but where ever i looked it was chaos, and then my urge for perfection and the most demoralizing factor of more rains, more chaos. It was 6 months of hard work, pampering the plants, just gone in a jiffy. Wet spring is no spring.

What was strange was act of vandalism. Why? Maybe it was defying nature that i would destroy it myself and not let nature be the cause. Poor nature, can't let it win :-). So project spring is officially closed.

I will start anew. After some time maybe. For a summer garden. Let the nature come again, with the scorching sun, the cloud bursts of monsoon. Will have another duel, though i am certain i will lose, but nature doesn't know this :P.

I will update the thread on 15 April. Lets see how things turn up, all that is left, without a single act of intervention.

That should be the spirit. Never give up as after all tomorrow is another day.

Some of my favourite quotes which i often use at the end as a guest speaker.

Youth
Youth is a state of mind.
As long as you are filled with faith,
hope and courage,
and do the best you can in your ever-changing daily life,
youth will be yours forever.

The Way
Every person has a path to follow.
It widens, narrows, climbs and descends.
There are times of desperate wanderings.
But with courageous perseverance and personal conviction,
the right road will be found.
This is what brings real joy.

@Tahir. Not sweetpeas & linums. Linums infact always rebound. Sweetpeas are really in a bad shape but they have grown so much that it would be daunting task throwing them.

@Mikhurram Sb. Thankyou very much for your words of consolation. It really means a lot. I think this is the difference this year from last year in my garden, that i tend to give up.

Last year I had lot of friends which would speak with a true heart and buck up, which would fill me with energy to continue trying. I don't know where i lost them

Did you still remember your words? :). In war there is no way to give up. There may some pauses but no way to disheart at all.
Summer, winter, fall, spring and monsoon all are parts of game. You have yet many colors in your gardens to exhibit. :P

Farhan it happens many time but its part of the game.Never loose heart & keep it up. I even like experiments. This year i have planted my annuals after 15th Jan just to see what will happen. The rains have spoil our wheat crop this year but can we stop growing wheat in future. You are a good gardener but one thing don,t stick too much to the names after all we grow to enjoy the blooms we are not growing botanical gardens. It does not mean we should not learn the names but we should not indulge so much.We are like a family & i really care but i like only to reply when its needed so don,t think Umar is not there. You have learned so much in just one year its your passion for gardening.
