hello, i m rashid and i have stevia plants with two varities and i m working on stevia form 2008 and we cultivated in field and now we are try to get extract from it, because it is problem to get extract form stevia plant , we are close to succuse, if u want the stevia plant i can give u /

Good to hear from you. There has been quite a mystery about this plant.Ist, no one was sure about its bulk availability, secondly about its viability as a substitute/alternative of sugar & lastly the form in which it could be used as a sweetener. It looks you can talk about these aspects with some authority.It would be nice if you could educate us.
Moreover,I have a Steva plant in my lawn, almost a year old but still only about 12"-14" tall & with 4-5 branches. Is the growth satisfactory ? Any guidelines about its care.

Dear member ,
i do alot of work on stevia propagation throgh tissue culturing , cutting and seed sowing . but the life time to stevis seed is very short and germination %age is very low so. i used other propagation. and it is very usfull alternative sugar plant.
