I am also interested in Hostas and your following mentioned website offers low price Hostas
http://www.edenbrothers.com/store/hosta ... nials.html
I think its not easy to carry plants from USA to Pakistan even with bare roots because of HOT weather conditions.

Still posting pictures here on the Spring thread another week or so despite obvious summer and 40 degrees already.
Dwarf Red Oleander obviously more dark pink than true red.

Kaleem Saheb way too hot for hosta. Probably best to bring them in Fall if I am there them and if they are shipping still. Same problem with Dahlia. When they ship dahlia tubers the dahlias here are going dormant due to heat. I also plan on trying the hosta which are more heat tolerant. You probably have success in Islamabad but Lahore will be more difficult. Beyond a certain point the effort sometimes is not worth the payoff.
I am really enjoying the daylilies but I can't help but think if they were early Spring flowering how much more I would have enjoyed them! Now although they are in bloom but it is too hot to spend extensive time outside and the colors are also not that dark. The orange daylily above looks washed out although it is dark orange daylily Bring It On. The earliest flowering daylilies also are late and usually are all some kind of yellow.
So we make out compromises like all gardeners do and keep moving...

Ahmed Saheb the peace lily is pretty much in full shade
even in winter it gets little sun. Summer mostly it is indirect light under a neem tree. I give it ZERO care. I am not feeding my passiflora anything but you can try potash. The hibiscus were plants not seed grown.
My experience so far is that anything which needs partial sun should be translated in Lahore as full shade or filtered light
anything which needs full sun should be translated as morning sun afternoon shade. By and large with a few exceptions this will make less work on your plants. Example if gardenia can be placed in filtered light or only 3-4 hours of direct sun they will flower well. In full sun they will die a painful death and in full shade they will not flower enough for you to enjoy. I am talking about smaller plants one or two years old.

I too have enough gardenia varieties now. The only one I need now is the var kula or the yellow one which Abbas was elling for Rs 3500! I didn't buy it since I think it was a ripoff.
The hibiscus were imported.
I think Peace lily should be easily found on a search of various nurseries. I bought both mine locally.
