Re: Garden Update 2013
and as far as nasturtiums are concerned... though no doubt looking very beautiful but the actual blooming without fertilizer is much more prominent... imagine if you replace the leaves with flowers and the flowers with leaves.. my experience of fertilizing nasturtiums was very lush green growth and all the flowers hidden beneath the leaves.. only a few poking out..

and in my first experience this season of growing Nasturtiums if you can take off the larger leaves that hide the blooms you can achieve a more radiant display... it will be a back breaking work but will be worth the effort.

Re: Garden Update 2013
@Tahir..thats what i am doing regarding Nasturtiums......I am a deadheading Freak!!!...A single faded bloom is "located" and destroyed
I will save seeds as last year and all interested members can have them, provided i am able to harvest them
And one more thing
....Your sent seeds are a day away from bloom
For heaven Sake no more rains...........peoples roof's are falling apart here

Floral Flush is preceded by Sky Flush yet again.........Rains for last 24 Hrs, Redo, redo and redo is what have been happening here
My next garden will be a green house that is a "Pakka promise". whatever the scale.
Thanks all
Update
Its 4 in the morning. Rain damage is beyond assessment. Water everywhere.......
Look at these 10 Ft sweetpeas .........they are so much "Thankful to nature" that they are kissing the ground for the "showers of blessings"
I wonder why we are the SUPER DUPER BLESSED ones here.......LOL
