ALFRESCO is it a repeat performance or purchase of this year?

Aoa Hussain sb yes we do trim our oranges & light prune but in the orchards.it because we want good yields there.you are right triming trees improves air circulation, produce new wood, the dry tips specially in citrus are eleminated.so the result is good yields but that we do in our orchards.i am not going to through my kinow trees but i am going to plant them in orange orchard for better care.the baghban takes good care of fruit trees than the home mali.i think you got my point.I,l divide the daffodile bulbs next year.i have more than 100 bulbs.i brought these from Swat.My roses are hybrid teas & floribauda & D.Austins.i have the desi Groojan gulb but i always prune it lightly. Thanks for your nice advice.i am very happy when some one guides me practically.i don,t grow bulbs too much.many bulbs do not flower in second year.actually they do not recive the chilling temperatures here naturally.i love Amaryllis,Paper whites & Bearded iris.i leave them untouched once they are established.the reason is i love bulbs in clumps.

Thanks for your reply.
I especially love the red tree rose. Here in America it will be worth about $75 to $100. I really envy all your plants. Great rose garden. If you ever need any bulbs from here please let me know. I think you have great weather in Mardan. I have only lived in Lahore for a few years and summers were bad. I am just tired of looking at the yellow brown pansy flowers which now are every where. Here we get new varieties and colors every year.
Can you grow peony and Hydrangea plants in Mardan?

Hi Ahmad thats why i told you get a standard of an ice berg or miniature variety grafted as a standard.these two types look more beautiful than the hybrid teas.this standard with three others i planted in 2004.i have made another with two colors. i have grafted white & pink ice berg, white & burgundy on same stem.i think it will look beautiful after a couple of years.
Hussain sb i graw those plants which are well suited to my climate.Peony,Hydrangea,African violets,Azaleas,Tuberous Begonias,Clematis, free flowering Magnolias, primulas, cyclamens & cool bulbs(needs pre chilling),Fuchsia do not grow here at Mardan.i have enjoyed all these along the dinner plate dahlias at Abbottabad.one of my friend grows Peony at Abbottabad.its really very nice.the perfect flower for Mardan is Rose & is also my favorite.Amaryllis is my favorite bulb.
