Indigenous Iris of Pakistan

Iris grow naturally in various parts of NWFP. They come in 3 colours white, yellow and Blue. I believe there is also a red colour but i am not certain.

Sir they need a good drainage site to thrive like bearded iris. The white variety is fragrant. Mine are in the ground for the past 3 years and have formed healthy clumps. The only problem is that they don't flower prolifically. Perhaps the reason is that I have never given them any fertilizer during the growth stage which irises normally require.

very nice and beautiful I never came across first and the third one but Yellow is available in our high lands

Khurram i have seen white & blue growing naturally but the yellow one i am seeing it now.great information.
