Beautiful passiflora. Do you know which one it is? Looks like Giant Granadilla? The gigs are awesome. How big does the fig tree get ie mature height and when does it start to fruit?

Thank You sir, I am not sure but I think this is Passiflora Incarnata. Giant Granadilla has red in it.
The fig 'tree' is hardly 1.5 ft tall. When I bought it few months back it had fruit on it, that was shared by birds and very soon it developed fruit-buds again which are ready now. This is some draft variety which produces fruit all year long.

Does the fig taste good? I've never tried fresh but I heard the dry ones we eat have a more pleassant taste. Also yoru passiflora vine looks really healthy. How much sun does it get and how often do you water it? Also I'm presuming this is the latest picture so it is thriving in this heat of 47 degrees?

It tastes sweet with loads of seeds in it. As good as the dry ones. You must try these figs. (if u are interested in growing them from seeds I can help =P) I am not sure of the exact duration of sunlight this passiflora receives but it comes under direct sunlight these days at noon. There is another one (pics attacted) which is not very healthy, also its new leaves are light green as it receives more day light than the other one. They are doing well in this heat, except for the flowering, which will start with rains, in monsoon Insh Allah.aykhan wrote:Does the fig taste good?
