Re: Identify please !
Its very difficult to exactly identify day lilies due to so many hybridizes.
This appears similar to some extent. The color of the flower varies depending upon the lighting condition at the time of Photograph taken

Farhan the two are so different that even a novice like me can point out many differences. Biggest being ,his is a bi-colour.
Why bother about name, give it your own.

Re: Identify please !
@ Farhan Thank You, That link eventually led me to another place where I finally found its true name !
@ Sir Arif Just a bit curious about 'reblooming factor' of this daylily thats the reason behind struggle for cultivator.Btw its under stress atm, due to extreme heat though its placed in full shade. The others have even dropped their buds, still unopened.
@ Tahir Bro its certainly not EL DESPERADO, as mine got ruffled edges and plain '(mango)custard' yellow sepals.Anyway Thanks for the suggestion.
Finally I found it, Calico-Jack, REBLOOMING ! daylily

Re: Identify please !
Haris, and friends This is not and can not be any of the registered named varieties you will find on the net.
Ask the Nursary who gave you the plant, he will tell you it is a seedling. even a seedling of a known plant can not be named after it as it does not have the same parentage. All you can say is; it looks like xyz.
There are thousand and thousand of registered varieties many of which do look alike but are different in some way or another.

Re: Identify please !
To further my point, the first one is my seedling and under it are the AHS registered Day-Lilies.
I feel my seedling is better than all of them, I have named it Black Beauty.
If i were to look in list of vendors there would be many many more like it. If you must have a name then name it yourself.
Arif
