Brig sb I think its Diva. The colors also depend on the location & temps. Double Record is brushed red on the edges & cream in the center.May be some times the red dominates & some time the creamy shade depending on the location. It was 7 C today so this Diva may be raised indoors.

This seems to be a triple amaryllis. There are countless red Amaryllis varieties but there is definitely something special about 'Diva' whose shape, colour and layout of the flower draws your attention. It's a very soothing/refreshing colour which has been captured very accurately.

Khurram sb you are right.Every double series has its own shape. I love the Nymphs. Look at the Double series ( Ice Queen, Double King or Double Dream, Then look at the Peacock series & then look at the Nymphs. Nymphs outer most petals are very large. So there is defently difference among each series.

True and still would you be able to put an unknown under any series?UMARKHANMARDAN wrote:Khurram sb you are right.Every double series has its own shape. I love the Nymphs. Indeed Sir it is exquisite. It does bear similarity to 'Exotic Nymph' but i suspect that this variety is the result of crossing Amaryllis 'Lady Jane' with another variety and the result is very uniform on the petals along with the shape. Spectacular. I would rate it amongst your finest Amaryllis crossings.by Muhammad Arif Khan » February 16th, 2014, 7:03 pm

Brig sb if its your own seedling then you are really the Master of Amaryllis. Very nice triple layered bloom. Another thing its not common as its your own discovery.
