Pin-cushion is looking great.
Is it annual or perenial here in our climate?

Annual......but appears to me as biennial atleast as its fighting such a heat.

Flowers can not to be judged best at this time. Firstly because of heat which causes them to lose color & dull out as well as reduction in their size and secondly the scourge of caterpillars.

This is first of cone flower. Size is small(2in), it is suffering from transplanting which i had to do in preparation of shifting. Secondly every bud of every flower at this moment is half eaten by some type of caterpillar. .



Better color in Scabiosa......Scabiosa has been fairly heat tolerant. But one bad aspect about it is that like all plants which make a rosette leaves (amberboa/sweet sultan etc), when it flowers it becomes very tall and lanky. I think the order we made of scabiosa may prove a better decision as its somewhat smaller height plant.

Is it cone flower or cousin Rudbeckia my vote is for the later.

I am confused....maybe you are right. Cone flowers and rudbeckias got mixed up.....foliage of this one appeared similar to cone.

The petals of cone flower are drooping down and the center is cone shaped and not flat.

haye farhan sab ap to chaa gaye ho g.. honestly aik to app ki pic aj dekhi to khud ba khud salute maar diya. or ap ka garden dekh k dil garden garden ho gya.

Sunflower field is almost ready for harvesting......


Malva was cut down after flowering......it is showing fresh growth and signals that its a perennial in our climate.


Yarrow is doing fine as well in drought conditions......Sorry guys who i committed for this plant. As soon as weather gets little cooler i will attempt to divide and dispatch this plant.


Perennial Verbena is also good at fighting hot weather
