hey how r u, tell me some thing abt belladona, in nov i brought a couple of bulbs, when do they bloom in our climate?

I would love to try some Irises, what I have for exchange is;
Pancratium Narcissiflorum (Hymenocalis Narcissiflora)
Haemanthus
Spreklia
Sanacio vine

@DrAmir, the belladonna produced foliage and i was expecting the flowers before that. Which means the bulbs are out of their cycle, right? Chances of blooming in august are slim. Now when they will shed their leaves, go dormant next winter and then they will show their flowers.

I think so too Khabbab. I think along with Lycoris the belladonas are called 'naked liliy' meaning they go dormant in summer and the first thing which comes up in autumn is the lily stalk ie before the leaves. I guess well have to all wait and see what these bulbs do this year. Should be interesting

Did TB's ever bloom for you?

This is my first time trying them. They are now sprouting as the weather is warming. Let's see when they flower.

@ Ay Khan Sahab Sir do upload Iris Tennison Ridge's pic. I would love to see it bloom.
@ Brig Arif Sahab Sir when does SPREKELIA bloom and what is its size ? a rough estimate.
