One of my favourite teacher used to say:
Every one has eyes but only few can see.
You see only what you want to see.
Yes sir, I also have a Golden no red hybrid pair.

Had this not the case, the world would have been so monotone......
Like a rainbow(life) where everyone gets a chance to select color of his choice from an overall picture.

Brig Sahib, based on my experience Asiastic and Longilflorum lilliums tend to sprout again on a regular basis and Oriental Lillium (having fragrance) do NOT tend to sprout again in the subsequent year after their first year of their bloom even though the bulb tends to survive. I would be interested in knowing if you have experienced any success with re-sprouting of Orientals in following years.
regards,

I have little experience of Lilium. I bought a few sprouted bulbs in 2011, which bloomed in 3rd week of November 2011 and now they are on buds again.
The bulbs bought in 2012 bloomed in 2nd week of December; some of those aborted and are sprouting now.
I think these are all Asiatic lilium.
