Umar, dont go for flowers from tubers, use them for taking cuttings. The cuttings will give you best results.

Brig. Arif sahib, Could you please post a close up of the golder shower vine flowers? It is a relatively uncommon vine in Karachi. I tried to grow it once at a high price but it did not survive. We will create a plant profile for this vine as well.
Brig sb i totally agree with you the Giants are best. There annual cousins raised from seed are that so beautiful even the the best from seed like Garden wonder, Cindrela & Figaro can not beat the Kashmir Dahlia. Kashmir Dahlia from cuttings give the best results in plains.Yes tubers are good but in Abboattabad or Murree not in plains.Frankly speaking even the best on the plains can not match the Dahlia grown in hilly stations. Its because of the climate which plays a vital role in any crop growing results.Thats why i don,t grow Dahlias any more. The most beautiful Dahlias which we see in Patoki or in any nurseries in the plains are brought from Murree.Brig sb i up root any thing which is not to my standard or which lacks the perfection. Dahlia is simply for the gardener who can grow it in the summers in the hilly areas.I have ebjoyed the Giants at Abbottabad.Plant full of fully double giants.Any gardener who take it as a hobby with passage of time becomes selective. My choice is long blooming annuals which can fill my garden so that i can enjoy it for a long time. This is not only in gardening this is in every hobby.I am even selective in birds & dogs now.
