Re: Blooms of the day
Crinum are really fit for our Pakistani gardens.i really love this bulb & Arif sb they are looking great in mass planting.mine are also coming to bloom.
Re: Blooms of the day
You dont have to plant the whites in Karachi. Any branch or twig that falls off and makes proper contact with the ground sends out roots and becomes a plant. Some what like a cacti. Yes it has a heady perfume which does make the pulse race faster. I have that dark pink but i also have a another variety in that colour. I will post a pic in my garden thread. A twiggy with a zig-zag trunk and can take water deprivation quite well. My nursery walla said its a F1, what ever that means in this context.
Regards.
Regards.

The white plumeria is beautiful indeed. However, I got a variety I have posted pictures of in another post and it is multicolor in dark pinks. It is VERY fragrant and I have not sen the color fade much. I have recently acquired a cutting of Candy Stripe. There is a true orange plumeria also which is supposed to be one of the most fragrant but it's cutting is very expensive.
I also love crnums and mine have teken the heat very well. I have said before that we are underutilizing these bulbs here, especially in Lahore where we probably have 6 or 7 climate changes very two months. I tried to get some varieities from Marcelle's Crinums but the lady is almost 90 and is not too enthusiastic when a time limit for shipping is requested. I will try again to purchase from her in September when I visit the US for another brief trip.

Arif Sahib
Your garden is really stunning. I tried Wisteria through seeds but failed. From where you have bought this vine?
Your Apply and wine crinum bed is eye catcher. When I was in Mangla cantt, had a very big garden, approx. four canal and won every year first prize in gardening competition. Will share photos soon. Your garden shows us your love passion and hardworking.
Thanks for sharing your garden and lovely plant with us.

Plant lovers always in search of new plants and try to increase their collection so as others, I am also.
I never sold out my plants but feel happy to share with other plants lovers/gardeners, its necessary the other person should be plant lover. The one who care your gifted plants.
If selling/purchasing is prohibited here than this site/forum is really good for plant lovers.
