I think I can safely say Spring has taken off in my garden. I can show some snaps other than solo shots of blooms now.

The hard wok just pad off.Awesome Dr. Sb.I can tell the first daylily is Velvet Eyes.Need to know the name of the second one.Extremly beautiful.I removed the scapes before they develope into buds because the plants were un established and they wont have produced many buds.I expect them to bloom in may/june with many many buds andgood flower size.

It's Bluegrass Music, very beautiful indeed. They must be a sight when blooming in the dozens. Maybe by next year?

A closeup would have shown its true colors.I left one bluegrass music and one moonlight sail's flowering spikes on.The bluegrass had 8 buds. The first one opened today but the flower was damaged and the color was a bit on the peach side rather than white/off white.Let's see what I get to see tomorrow.
Some of your daylilies won't multiply at all in a year and some might produce upto 5-6 offsets in a year. The second year in the ground is when they really grow crazy. You'll have huge clumps in 2 years from now.
