I was encouraged by the green shoots but they have yellowed and now come off. I'm thinking it might be underwatering but Adnan thinks it might be over-watering. Ammocharis is supposed to break dormancy within 3 days of watering but I wonder if that is for established plants with a good root system. I guess I will stick to the plan of watering when soil is dry for 2-3 days and hope for the best.

Make sure water doesnt enter the place where leaves are comming from.Looks like rotten leaves.

Something does seem wrong. I am careful the water doesn't enter the bulb.

Izhar please post pictures on this thread of your Ammocharis. Mine were supposed to be 8-10 years old so I would like to compare.

Sorry didn't see the picture since it loaded late. Why have you removed your seedlings? I read that root disturbance can put these bulbs back one to two years!
