Wow... the first two are really stunning. Hemerocallis, generally speaking, are suitable plants for hot areas of Pakistan and survive well in Lahore southwards. This is a big plus.

aykhan sb, do you leave your daylilies where they are during winters or take them out and plant again next year? How is the behavious of these new cultivars as compared to the older known varieties which are relatively more common? Any difference in behaviour / growing environment?

The daylilies remained in the ground in the winter. Most of mine and evergreen or semi evergreen so they get dormant but leaves remain. The couple which are dormant away disappear but come spring they reappeared. Not sure about behavior compared to old cultivars but these are all reblooming so they should bloom again after this first flush. When not sure but my guess is after monsoon when the temps ho down or maybe in Fall. My first experience with daylilies.

Also I planted the oleander last year so I can't be sure about their bloom pattern. If they behave like all nerium oleanders then they should pretty much remain in constant bloom without care in the summer.

A number of them are fragrant when I poked my nose in. Their fragrance is not over powering like plants famous for fragrance.

Although these were as expensive and some much more than Adnan but these by far were big fans and most were double or triple fans. Also the sale offer was great. Probably about 70% of my daylilies are from Petit and I talked with him directly about his varieties. He actually called me and said he too is a doctor but the PhD kind and teaches at a university. The daylily hybridization the husband and wife started as a hobby and it has expanded so much.
