November,busiest month in gardening

in Pakistan November is start of winter and along with it start of spring gardening season.so it is a busy month for a gardener.weather changes rapidly in this month.here are few tasks for month of November. feedback,further addition and experience related with this month is requested from members..
1.complete your seed sowing for spring display.best time for seed sowing is till 10 November.so hurry up and complete your seeds sowing task.all winter vegetables can be sown now a days.

also sow seeds of prennials like rudbekias,cone flower,coreopsis etc
bulbs add a touch of beauty in spring.so if you are seeking a good display then grow bulbs.and November is best time to plant spring flowering bulbs.following bulbs are available in market,

narccisus
daffodil

sparaxis
and these will be available after 15 november.

and many more.so choose from these or visit local seed stores and find what is available.
2.prepare you beds for for seedlings transplant.add mulch and DAP while preparing bed.
3.prune perennial shrubs and big trees.Pick-prune shrubs to remove longest shoots, if needed. Lightly sheer unruly plants. Do not do major pruning until late winter.
4.remove summer annual vines from garden after collecting seeds like morning glories,cllitorea,cypress vine etc.
5.fertilize perennials like gerberas,cone flower,coreopsis,pentas and shrubs and trees.
6.stop daily watering to plants instead water after 3 days or weekly depending on soil condition.
7.install a green house with plastic sheet to save seedlings from frost in upcoming months.
8. best time to transplant plants and change place of plants if required.
9.you can plant gerberas in this month.

Execellent enumeration,Hammad.
Incidently,what is your preference- Hamad in your name plate on top or hammad in the signature in bottom or any/either?
