Eid

A young gardener woke up excited on Eid,
So happy he swallowed six packets of seeds,
It soon came to pass
He was covered in grass
And he couldn't sit down for the weeds

Mistakenly I swallowed a tulip bulb thinking it was an onion
Later in the day I had stomach pains
Thinking I had poisoned myself I took some laxative to speed things along
I waited two days and there was nothing
Worried I decided to go to the hospital
The nurse there sent me for initial scans xrays and loads of other things
She told me to return the next day to see the consultant for my results
The next day I saw him and he said
"Oh don't worry, drink plenty of water and it will be out by spring"
