My Gardening Resolution 2013/14

I am a week plus EIGHTY and still learning.
My pet, who shares the room with me at night, wakes me up usually around six in the morning to move out to the garden. On his way he picks up his toy teddy and for the next half an hour he runs around playing with his toy with full energy and when exhausted comes and sits by my side.
I feel every morning he thanks Allah for another day given to him and wants to make best of it.
How many times have I thought of quitting this or that of my activities, but not now, now I am only curtailing them to my physical fitness, thanking Allah every morning for giving me another day.
I have made a resolution, gardening at home for my pleasure and for the public at Arches Thokar; the later will get only my advice.
Activity at home;
No more permanent plants I already have more than enough.
My main activity shell be,
Day-Lilies
Hippeastrums/Amaryllis
Other Bulbs and Corms
Orchids (a new project, starting come September)
Limited Annuals
Hoping for the best
Arif

29207 Days, Blessed and healthy life, grand children and possibly millions of blooms spanned over 80 springs.
I doubt, I and many here will have that long, and life won't be so kind enough

I thank for every day you lived, for it must have been glorious and inspiring for all around you. As it has been for us here in forum.
Best Wishes

Sometimes i think to share some poetry.......yet on second thought, i say its "off Topic"
I Now think its not off topic. We here, are living souls, with stories drenched with joy and vice versa.....Lets put in some human touch into gardening, lets not just talk plants, pest and manures...... lets talk how we see them, what we are in our gardens............
Let us share our emotions a little more.......

May you complete the century + with same spirit & zeal, in good health & happiness in the company of your full family, plants, flowers & pets & playing Golf. Farhan sb we are not as good in language and expression as you.
We never feel your feelings and poetry off topic. Here is a democracy and there should be freedon of speech and opinions.
World is like a garden and in life we are struggling for another garden.
