Dear all,

I have a very old surahi palm in my house. its grown old and its roots are coming out of the pot.
it seems like it has produced small surahi's on its stem. now tell me how to remove it from the mother and how to plant it ?
If i cut it and jsut plant it in soil will ir grow??
I am afraid if this is the correct procedure or not .

Kindly guide me

Regards

Sameer

healthy cutting do survive but they take a lot of time to develop roots plus the surahai at the base is not as significant as from seeds my surahi palms produce beautiful white flowers one them is from cuttings but i am yet to obtain if any seeds from them.
