Grass Problem

Can any one guide me regarding grass,when i bought grass from nursery in patches of 1x3 feet in summer,it was very thick and condense and i laydown same patches on new soil full of bhal but after two months even after having full sunshine and proper watering it become very thin and the feel of carpet does not last any more,is there any way to have thick grass like it was in nursery or do the people at nursery give any special medicated traetment to grass for making it thick and condense.

Cut the grass not less then 1 inch high, sprinkle some urea and water every third day even in winter.

For best result, use NPK 4-1-2, 450 gm of Nitrogen / 1000 sft, with 60 gm of Iron Sulphate per year.
Combine Urea 1 KG + DAP 250 Gm + Potash 1/2 KG + Iron Sulphate 100 Gm for 1000 Sq. Ft.
Apply twice a year preferably March and September.
Now and March.
